Santorini is rightly celebrated as one of the most photogenic islands in Europe and has been attracting avid nature lovers for decades.

The unique island terrain encompasses a multi coloured volcanic landscape, rugged coastal cliff-tops, caves and wonderful beaches.

Walking tours offer the chance to explore many romantic settings with picturesque traditional villages dotted around the countryside and coastline and beautiful secluded sandy bays. The Santorini surroundings offer both relaxed walking or more challenging steep coastal pathways and stunning views.

Getting there: Santorini airport is located on the east side of the island and is served by direct flights from a number of UK and European airports.

Getting around: Buses to most of the surrounding villages are available from the airport. They run every 30 minutes during the summer, and every hour during the winter. It may be helpful to note that public buses are green, any other colour are tourist buses.
